General Interest The Small Bees' Honey: Stories Product Details: Category: Books ISBN: 1877727741 Title: The Small Bees' Honey: Stories The Fast Free Shipping Author: Clark, George Publisher: White Pine Press Year Published: 0708 Number of Pages: 196 Book Binding: Paperback / softback Prizes: Book Condition: VERYGOOD SKU: CIN1877727741VG Item description Fourteen polished if arid stories of betrayal and alienation in love and war. Brought up in Rhodesia and South Africa, where his family passed for white, and formerly a soldier in the South African army fighting in Angola, Clark is as much preoccupied with race as with war. Here, these themes are addressed in the first person by seemingly unchanging characters who share a similar-sounding voice, despite locales that range from Angola and Cuba to Florida. I thought I was ordering a paper back, especially considering the price was only around $10. I'm not sure if they shipped a hard cover by mistake. But I am more than happy to accept it. The description wasn't clear on what it was. So this could very well have been the intended item. I was not very impressed with their customer service at all. It took them days to respond and they didn't seem to care about the delay in shipping. I might purchase again, but I would be cautious as it was delayed.
2009 1st edition hardcover of "Summer Knight," by Jim Butcher is as pictured & described. Arrived quickly. Packaged in a loose, weak plastic bag. Got banged around a bit by the postal service. A couple layers of bubble-wrap would go a long way in protecting against postal brutalization. Got a great deal & book looks very good overall! Seller recommended, but be aware of flimsy packaging & risks involved. Great return policy. Thanks for the great deal!
Very good used book quality and as described by seller. Timmy shipping, good packaging, and the overall value of this book is awesome. The book is 2x cost for a new one, but the book seller shipped is all new (used but no marks of ever being used meaning great quality), and is 50%+ cheaper. Shipping cost was highly reasonable because seller gave it for free. Thanks so much and this is such a wonderful experience dealing with this seller. Love it!
