Gemini - Zodiac Iron On Transfer / HTV Iron On Transfer. Transfers only applies to: 100% cotton & Poly/cotton blends HOW TO APPLY: 1.- Iron your garment to remove wrinkles 2.- Position your decal on the garment with the clear plastic carrier sheet on top so the design reads correctly. (We recommend to use a Teflon sheet or parchment paper to protect your garment and the Vinyl) 3.- Preheat your iron to the Medium High setting, usually "cotton" with no steam I recommend that you do not use a folding ironing board, I prefer to use an ironing pad on a sturdy table. You can also try putting a wooden cutting board on your table. 4.- Place your iron on top of the protected vinyl (with Teflon sheet) and PRESS HARD for 20-30 seconds, DO NOT slide your iron around 5.- Pick/Lift up your iron to another spot repeat step 6- Continue until your entire Decal is adhere Some types of HTV will require more or less heat and time, I like to do a little bit of time, and then check the design to see how it is going. 7.- Be careful when peeling off the clear transfer sheet! It will be hot! wait a few seconds before peeling. If the vinyl starts to come up with the carrier sheet, then you need to give it some more heat and pressure. 8.- Once the clear transfer sheet has been peeled/removed. After removing the plastic carrier sheet, I like to flip my project inside out and apply some more heat to the backside to ensure a really good application. You can see that you have a good application when you can see the weave of the fabric through the vinyl. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before washing. Once it has cured, it can be washed and dried. For best results, wash inside out with cold water and hang to dry or tumble dry on No heat ***You may also use a heat press at 385 for 15 seconds.
