Galactic Chalcedony - Polished Freeform 1.11lbs Dimensions : 5" Tall 3" Width 8" Circumference This is a rare piece and a new find of 2020. A galaxy that can fit in your hands. This Chalcedony of an interesting dark grey/green color was found in Java. The material shows lots of spheres formed inside the host. The greenish color is due to iron and these spherulites are sometimes empty, partially filled or completely solid with a concentric small crystals on the surface . The conclusion after analysis has proven a silica content, therefore these little spheres are cristobalite.
