O desenho experimental que se utilizou, foi de blocos completamente ao azar com quatro tratamentos e três repetições, avaliaram-se parâmetros morfofisiológicos e rendimento do cultivo, aos resultados obtidos lhes fez uma análise estatística de comparação. Os melhores resultados obtidos a campo aberto, nos parâmetros morfofisiológicos foi o tratamento T1 com uma distância de plantação 0,40 m 0,20 m com uma altura médio de 36,03 cm, um diâmetro do caule de 0,62 cm e 2 frutos por plantas. Também para os índices fisiológicos corresponde com uma distância de plantação de 0,40 m 0,20 m; com um índice de área foliar 0,11 m2, com potencial fotosintético de 2,82 m2/día, uma TÃO de 0,50 g.m2.día-1 e um rendimento agrícola de 4,82 kg/m2.
