Publisher Description Die Kommission Wissenschaftstheorie im Verband der Hochschullehrer für Betriebswirtschaft e. V. publiziert seit ihrer Konstituierung vor zwölf Jahren die Beiträge, die auf ihren Arbeitstagungen vorgetragen und dis­ kutiert wurden. Damit soll die breitere Fachöffentlichkeit über die Ar­ beit der Kommission sowie über neuere Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Methodologie informiert werden. Der vorliegende Band setzt diese Tradition fort: Er enthält - mit einigen Ergänzungen - die meisten Re­ ferate, die auf der zehnten Tagung der Kommission am 21. und 22. März 1986 an der Universität Trier gehalten worden sind. Daß dieser Tagungsband dünner ist als frühere - und thematisch enger ausgerichtet sein dürfte -, könnte und sollte die mit der Veröffentlichung angestrebte Rezeption der Arbeitsergebnisse durch einen weiteren Kreis von Fach­ kollegen erleichtern. Das Thema "Modelle und (formale) Theorien in der Betriebswirtschafts­ lehre" war aus mehreren Gründen vorgeschlagen und gewählt worden. Der wichtigste ist wohl der, daß Modelle in den methodologischen Dis­ kussionen deutscher Betriebswirte bisher nicht die Aufmerksamkeit er­ fahren haben, die ihnen angesichts ihrer Rolle in der Wissenschafts praxis zukommen dürfte. Allein dadurch sollte das Tagungsthema die Ver­ knüpfung von Metawissenschaft und Objektwissenschaft stärken. Ein weiterer Grund kann darin gesehen werden, daß, wie es scheint, in der Betriebswirtschaftslehre Modelle und formale Theorien wieder höher eingeschätzt werden als vor einigen Jahren. Die damit angesprochene Gewichtsverlagerung auf der Objektebene galt es methodologisch zu re­ flektieren.   2. The basket is perfectly what I ordered and as listed. It came in the factory packaging and was perfect upon delivery. Thank you postal service lol. The delivery took way longer than listed though, it was listed to come in a week from purchase, but took a whole month. I had some concerns at first, but communication with the company was top notch and they were very professional and answered most of my questions satisfyingly. Just prepare for a longer wait than listed, but I got what I bought lol.

  3. The two new out-of-print books I ordered were exactly as described and shipped promptly. I did ask the seller's support person (an AI chatbot, I think) to be sure to package the items carefully, and "he" said that he'd make that request of the shipping department. I knew this was hooey, and as I expected, the books were shipped in nothing but a padded paper mailer, no other protection. I got lucky, no damage, but don't bother making special requests of this seller.
