An attractive and early New York City financial document from the post-War of 1812 era. Fine condition. Jacob Radcliff (1764–1844) served as Mayor of New York City from 1810 to 1811 and again from 1815 to 1818. A prominent lawyer and politician, he played an important role in the governance of New York during a period of rapid commercial growth and urban expansion.
