Toyota VF4B transfer case for FJ Cruiser manual transmission - needs repair

Hello all, up for sale is a CORE Toyota VF4B transfer case. This one was removed from my personal vehicle due to a severe cracking noise under acceleration. I wish to note the following items 1. It was functioning when removed. 2. This is from a 2008 Toyota FJ cruiser with a manual trans, not an automatic (the automatics had a different transfer case) 3. Under moderate acceleration, I would get a severe popping and cracking noise. 4. I have not disassembled it to determine the cause, but I can see the chain is stretched through the fill and drain plug. 5. It has water contamination and rust inside. 6. The skid plate was removed and switched over to my new one. 7. There are no broken bolts and the position switches are about 1 year old. 8. Very heavy package, ships UPS 9. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm fitment I know these are rare, I tried to find a used one for my car and couldn't find an affordable one, I went brand new from Toyota. Instead of throwing this in the scrap metal pile, I thought it might be of use to someone. I can't stress it enough, it will need work.
