WE ARE CLEARING AN OLD JEWELLERS STOREROOM. ALL ITEMS ARE BEING SOLD AT CLEARANCE PRICES. ONCE GONE THEY ARE GONE!! With an all-over fine stripe finish stylish cigarette case would make a lovely heirloom gift. Crafted from 925 Sterling Silver it measures 8.3 x 9 x 1.5cm with a weight of 119.8g (3.8 ounces). There is a round engraving plate to the front which has been engraved, but this could possibly be polished by a local jeweller should you wish to have this done at a later date. Opening the case reveals the hallmark that shows the makers mark L. F, the anchor mark of Birmingham Assay Office, the lion passant confirming the fineness of the metal, and the date letter 't' for the year 1918. The hinges and clasp are all in good condition. The outside displays general wear commensurate with use and age. A fine example of British craftmanship from a bygone age. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OVERSEAS SALES. ALL ITEMS ARE SHIPPED BY EBAY GLOBAL SHIPPING. THEY MAY ADD DUTY AND CHARGES TO YOUR PURCHASE. PLEASE CONTACT EBAY WITH ANY QUERIES. I CAN ONLY CONSIDER NEAR OFFERS To replace this item would really be very expensive to acquire again. Note: All weights and measurements are approximate only. PLEASE INSPECT PHOTOS AND READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. THIS WILL HELP SO WE HAVE FEWER RETURNS.
