The philanthropist, Sir Courtauld Thomson, gave it to the nation in 1943. This book traces the history of the house as well as including an account of the donor. This item is in very good condition as stated in the listing. Arrived through USPS untracked within 12 days, which I believe is normal for this seller. I have ordered from them in the past, and just wrapping the items in a plastic bag doesn't seem sufficient, but this time the book was not damaged in transit. The quality is what the seller stated, I believe I got a good price for this item. The dust cover looks to be in very good condition as well. I would order again from this Ebay seller.

Shipping was lightning fast in bubble packaging protecting the CD in side which was in good condition. The CD was as described and in good appearance, and well worth the value playing very well.
