Description

We Needed Coffee but . . ., Paperback by Welton, Matthew, ISBN 1847770029, ISBN-13 9781847770028, Brand New, Free shipping in the US A strikingly modern textual experiment, this collection of poems takes an audaciously playful approach to poetic structure and borrows inspiration from the most varied of sources: art exhibitions, song lyrics, a London Underground map, and the architecture of an airport. Written with precise attention to detail and containing exceptionally musical rhythms, the pieces are influenced from a range of unlikely sources&;from Frank O&;Hara and Gertrude Stein to the artwork of Yoko Ono&;and blending seamlessly to produce a refreshingly different collection of verse.

  2. Book was new (as advertised) and priced fairly. I thought it could have been shipped by a more expeditious means for about the same money, but it was well packaged and arrived in good shape. The "slowness" in delivery was due to the delivery service the seller chose to use and was not due to a lack of timeliness on the seller's part. I would be glad to buy from this merchant again and I would recommend them to other eBay book shoppers.

  3. This unique book was priced quite reasonable. The book was advertised as new and arrived in mint condition and in the highest authentic hard cover quality. It Packaging was very good when mailed. I also find communicating with the seller during the shipping process, which was a bit of a wait for a very hard to find book, was very prompt and inspired trust. I highly recommend this seller and will return for future purchases.
