A apresentação clínica foi inequívoca. Na maioria dos casos, tratava-se de uma tumefação basi-cervical anterior. A ecografia foi realizada em todos os casos. A tiroidectomia total numa única operação foi realizada em 12 casos, na presença de um exame extemporâneo que concluiu que o tumor era maligno. Quatro doentes foram submetidos a tiroidectomia total num segundo estádio. A dissecção linfonodal central foi efectuada em todos os casos, combinada com dissecção lateral funcional em seis casos. O carcinoma papilar foi o tipo histológico mais frequente. A invasão capsular, a multifocalidade e a embolia vascular foram registadas em seis, dois e cinco casos, respetivamente. O envolvimento de gânglios linfáticos foi encontrado em 50% dos casos. Catorze doentes foram submetidos a iraterapia pós-operatória, treze dos quais se encontravam em remissão completa no final do tratamento. A radioterapia externa foi indicada num caso de carcinoma medular com metástases nos gânglios linfáticos centrais. Um doente faleceu devido a metástases pulmonares de um carcinoma insular. The delivery took way longer than listed though, it was listed to come in a week from purchase, but took a whole month. I had some concerns at first, but communication with the company was top notch and they were very professional and answered most of my questions satisfyingly. Just prepare for a longer wait than listed, but I got what I bought lol.

Leaving positive feedback because 1) item was packed well & arrived as described 2) seller did give partial refund when subsequent price dropped below org purchase price. 3) communication was quick However, there was a downside to this transaction -item listed as in-stock but ended up waiting nearly a month for them to get it from their distributer then ship it to me (bought June 29th, arrived around July 21). Auction said 12-15 days. Better clarity would have prevented lot of frustration
