For sale, a BEAUTIFUL....VERY EARLY (PRE-STRIP) BELIEVE RARE TO FIND OLD "PICTORIAL HANDLE / STEM STERLING SILVER SOUVENIR SPOON which says on it " (pictorial of cowboy on bucking bronco / cattle skull) LAS VEGAS, NEV " once sold as a souvenir in historic old region of LAS VEGAS, NEVADA You know that this is an early Las Vegas spoon....It does not glamorize Casinos....Gambling...the strip....it shows a cowboy scene......so great JUST A BEAUTIFUL OLD WESTERN SOUVENIR SPOON FROM EARLY "PRE-STRIP" LAS VEGAS...BACK BEFORE IT WAS SUCH A BIG DEAL....WHEN OLD VEGAS WAS DOWNTOWN NEAR FREMONT STREET....AND NOTE WITH "BUCKIN BRONCO" PICTORIAL...WHICH IS NOT WHAT YOU WOULD ASSOCIATE WITH LAS VEGAS TODAY These old sterling sliver souvenir spoons are hard to find today....believe this one is from 1930'S era....these were often purchased at places like Railroad Depots, Hotel Lobbies, old news stands, or drug stores back in the day THIS SOUVENIR SPOON DISPLAYS VERY WELL, CAME OUT OF A LIFETIME COLLECTION OF NEVADA TRADE TOKENS AND GO-WITH STERLING SPOONS....NICE DETAILS, HAS NOT BEEN HARSHLY CLEANED... The historic town of Las Vegas is located in Clark County, not far from Boulder City and Henderson Nevada This antique souvenir spoon is marked sterling silver, measures about 5 1/2" long, weighs 17.65 grams, and it displays well.
