  1. These plastic needles have flexible openings to allow for easy threading. However, they are rigid (end to end) for sewing with and have sharp enough points to split the yarn when weaving ends in. Five different sizes (and colors) will accommodate thin or thick yarns. I'm pleased with them. They were well packaged and came in good condition. If they last well and don't break easily, they will be a good value.

  2. I ordered two (one for myself, and one as a gift). One came in perfect condition, the other has the plastic separating from the paper. I’ll keep that one and give the other. It’s cosmetic only, the actual needles are perfectly fine and function as intended!
