Not only is the design striking, but even the characteristic smooth winding mechanism is very similar to the R3. The XE also suffers from frequent electrical system malfunctions, and many have corroded prisms. These days, it's extremely rare to find a beautiful example that's still in perfect working order. The lens arrived quickly, only a few days from Japan to the UK, and was very well packed for shipping. The lens was as described, very good condition used but fully working and the inclusion of the UV filter and Nikon threaded end cap is a nice bonus. I would be very happy to purchase from this seller in the future.
Seller replied to emails within minutes, any and all queries answered. Item was exactly as described, well packaged and sent promptly . . later in the day that I bought it in fact. Offered at a very good price which even with delivery from Japan and import duty compared favourably with similar items here in the UK.
