Fair UV (Ultraviolet) sunlight resistance The outside diameter of this cable is slightly less than ¼ inch, 0.230” nominal. The inner wires are 18 gauge 41 strand copper for flexibility, tin plated for corrosion resistance. The inner wires are UL1061 style with a thin wall PVC semi-rigid PVC insulation. Note: a professional wire stripping tool is recommended due to the heavy jacket insulation.
